A wedding cake is more than dessert…it’s a centerpiece, a symbol, and a sweet reflection of your story together. At The Baker and the Cakemaker, we believe your cake should be every bit as memorable as the moment you cut into it.

From charming single tiers to elegant double tiers, we offer a wide variety of cakes to choose from, each one crafted from scratch with thoughtful flavors, quality ingredients, and beautiful finishes.

Choose Your Cake

Many of our cakes can be made into tiered cakes, either with the cake-specific frostings or with a frosting made to give a more traditional look.

Cake Styles

For the most “Traditional” appearance, you can choose from: Vanilla Bean Buttercream, Whipped Cream or Cream Cheese Frosting. 

We can also give your cake a “Naked Rustic” look (the cake top is frosted and the sides are unfrosted), if you prefer. 

You can also choose to have us decorate in our “Rustic-Elegant” style using seasonal flowers, greenery, chocolate and/or fruit. Or you can bring us your own flowers/décor for us to add to your cake. 

Alternatively, we can leave a blank canvas for your florist or you to decorate. 

Cake Tastings

Since our cakes are made fresh to order, we do not offer traditional tastings. However, we do offer our weekly cake by the slice. Many couples enjoy sampling our Cake of the Week as a delicious way to experience our style and flavors.

Another popular option is to order an 8" cake from our wide selection to share with family and friends. If you choose this route and later book your wedding cake with us, we’ll credit 10% of the 8" cake’s price toward your wedding cake. Just save your receipt so we can apply your discount.

Sizes & Pricing

We offer two tiered-cake sizes: 

Small: 8-inch bottom, 6-inch top - serves 20 people: $147

Large: 10-inch bottom, 8-inch top - serves 35-40 people: $206

Pricing may change based on customer special request or changes in ingredient costs 

If a tiered cake on its own isn’t enough to serve all of your guests, we also offer additional cakes, cupcakes, and sheet cakes to ensure there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Ordering, Pick Up & Serving Information

For simple wedding cakes, please place orders a minimum of two business days in advance prior to pick up (please note we are closed Sun & Mon).

For more complex wedding cakes and extra modifications, we request at least a week’s notice  - The earlier, the better! 

Cakes are best picked up on the day of the event but can be arranged for the day before.

We do not offer delivery; transporting on a flat location in the car is best, avoiding empty seats and laps. Cakes are placed on a thick cake board before boxing to provide better support during transport. 

For the best flavor and texture, most of our cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature and stored in a cool, shaded spot. The exception is cakes with whipped cream frosting, which should be kept refrigerated and then brought to room temperature about an hour before serving.
